We are slowly emerging from home office. Even though Sweden didn´t have such a hard-core lockdown, everyone at Plaxin who doesn't have to wear a lab coat to work has been logging the hours from home. Therefore, it was a lot of fun to attend (well, online of course!) a presentation of The European Union Observatory for Nanomaterials (EUON). It's amazing to see all the talented people working in the field and although we are all for the streamlining of bureaucracy, we applaud the work being done on regulating this new field. It is early days for nanotechnology and nanomaterials and the future is exciting but it needs to remain safe for all. We can happily say that nothing we learned from the presentation changes the use of nanomaterials in Plaxin. We will continue to work closely with EUON and NanoCommons.
After the presentation a part of our team went for drinks outside and we all agree that nothing beats Stockholm around this time of year.
Happy summer solstice everyone!
